Sandbox History + Philosophy.

Our niche of creative and production began in 1992, when three idealistic 20-somethings were inspired to start their own photography studio.

They envisioned a company that fostered creativity along with productivity…
a place that encouraged dynamic relationships between photography crews, producers and clients… a place where talented people could create anything they could imagine.

They decided to name this studio Sandbox. After over a decade of growth and change, the name remains, along with the philosophy of unbridled creativity it represents.

At Sandbox, our ideals are simple: We believe that creative partners should serve one another, respect one another and be truthful to one another. We believe that work and play are not mutually exclusive. And we believe that the blue sky and the bottom line can meet in exciting, amazing ways.
